New Brevoort Formspring

Not a question per se but something has struck me... we saw a future for the Jean Grey School with Logan looking older, which seemed odd to me since he basically shouldn't really age. And then of course he lost his healing factor and died... but now we have Old Man Logan running around, who does look older... might there be a connection of some kind? I do want classic Logan back someday, but I wonder if there is a deliberate plan here. (I won't spoil it, but I am watching to see!)
