  • What's the official Marvel stance on the word "The" being an official part of a comic's title? For example, the cover will say THE VISION, but the title page (I'm talking the small print at the bottom that lists all the credit and legal stuff) will say VISION only. But for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN the reverse is true, "The" is included. Is it a title-by-title decision? Thanks in advance.

Marvel’s official stance is that we don’t spend a lot of time worrying about it one way or the other. (But if all of the “The”’s counted, everybody’s collection would have virtually everything filed under T!)
