Have you ever told someone they can't use a villain because said villain is dead? It seems like the editors don't bother checking the status of the bad guys anymore. For example, SugarMan was just killed by Magneto in his solo series during the Last Days Secret Wars tie-in. Now he's back alive in Extraordinary? Seems dismissive of Cullen Bunn's AMAZING story in Magneto.
Of course I have, happens all the time. However, those last events preceding Secret Wars are one of the things that did change when the Marvel a Universe was restored, such that the disaster didn’t come to fruition. So, given that, it’s not hard to suppose that Sugar Man’s demise was similarly revised (much as Steve Rogers’ and Iron Man’s were.)
