  • Has there ever been a story so weird and outside of the box of what you thought would work for the character or concept that you were shocked it worked as well as it did? I'm not asking from any snarky kind of aspect, because I love the weird, out there concepts for characters, because think it really shows what makes characters and concepts work at their core. like for example, I think Frankencastle was a story that really showed who the Punisher was at the very base of the character.

    I don’t know that this quite qualifies as what you’re looking for, but Wil Moss had to convince me to do Tom King and Gabe Walta’s take on a VISION series–and that worked out pretty well.
