The proper answer is to say Barry Windsor-Smith, but the truth is that I always liked John Buscema in the black and white magazines where he’d be inked by heavy texturists such as Alfredo Alcala more–that really is the look of Conan to me. Barry’s pretty great as well, though, especially once he gets going.
