Is Marvel doing so poorly, and is so hard up for sales, that they are slapping there loyal fans in the face for buying the first three issues of several titles at full price? Wow! Unbelievable! Timely is a "screw you" you to the loyal fan-base.

I think that’s absurd way of looking at this. You bought the issues when they came out, you enjoyed them (or didn’t), and got to experience them before anybody else. This is like complaining that the collection costs less–sure, maybe, but you would have had to wait months, and with no guarantee. And you could have done that, still could do that with other books. But if, for example, you buy a power drill, and then a week later the store runs a sale on power drills, you don’t look at that as an insult to power drill fans everywhere, right?
