Isn't it a little dishonest to make such a big deal about comics being "sold out"? Sold out just means you didn't print as many as you should/could have. It's not a reflection of quality or of high sales. It's all relative to how many copies you decided to print. There are series that are selling less than their pre-ANAD incarnations yet they are "sold out".

No, that’s not quite true. All of our print runs are determined by retailer orders–the more orders there are, the more copies we print. But sometimes, retailers underestimate the demand for a particular book, such that there aren’t enough copies to fill it, and a backlog of orders builds up. That’s a sell-out, and when we go back to press on a title. Without that demand, it’s just a typical issue of a comic.
