Was there a lot more originally planned for the short five-issue volume of the series? I ask because it was such a good story and I thoroughly enjoyed Rick Remender’s run (not to mention Daniel Acuna on that leg there, who’s just great), which I almost passed on due to Hickman’s Avengers and New Avengers taking up my Avengers budget. Wow, was I happy I didn’t!
