  • If an anon on here said that he wants a third and final volume of Wolverine by Hama and Silvestri before the new Wolverine film hits theaters early next year, is s/he, "hiding behind anonymity to express that opinion?"
    Anonymous

I don’t have a problem in general with anonymous questions–it’s why I’ve allowed that feature to remain activated on this page. I do think, however, as is couched within your question, a certain percentage of the people reading this page use that anonymity to behave badly, whether that means being insulting and inappropriate or expressing beliefs that show a lack of tolerance for others. And when people try to lecture about how upstanding they are, i don’t think it’s out of line to ask them to put some kind of name to their statement, even if that name is “assholefan” or whatever stupid alias they want to stand behind. But if you want to stand on the moral high ground, own your words.

And yes, the anon asking about that collected edition would be hiding behind anonymity, but not in a way that seems problematic. Don’t know whether we’ll be doing such a volume, though.
