Is Standoff as crossover, rather than an event mini-series? In other words, will I be pretty lost if I only get the capstone issues and Captain America and ANAD Avengers? (of all the books on standoff checklists, those are the only two on my pull)

You’ll probably want the UNCANNY AVENGERS issues as well, given the ANAD AVENGERS ones, as they form together one of the story threads of STANDOFF. But you ought to be able to get by with that, more or less.
