I was happy to see the ANAD relaunch being willing to take chances on stories involving the sorts of obscure characters and offbeat ideas I tend to be drawn to, but noticed that these niche concepts are unsurprisingly frequently resulting in niche sales figures. Is Marvel on a trend of being willing to publish for niche taste audiences like myself, or should I resign myself to the all-too familiar feeling of a lot of stuff I like being too niche to avoid cancellation? :/

Depends on the project and the zeitgeist, I’m afraid. But every Marvel release still needs to earn its own way. So if it is too niche to attract enough of an audience, whatever it is, it will probably go away.
