  • My one major problem with Marvel is I invest so much time into reading 90% of a story and then the plotline is either forgotten, not resolved then forgotten or ignored by the next writer so there's never a pay off. It's not a good feeling. There's no resolution or it gets resolved off panel and ignored. I understand the need to give writers a blank canvas but maybe more notice should be given to a writer before they're taken off a book. Like a years notice.

Most writers aren’t taken off books on the manner you describe–they leave when their story is finished. And if somebody was being removed from an assignment for cause, whatever that cause was, you wouldn’t want them around writing more of it for an entire year thereafter.
