Ant-Man and Captain America are top notch books. Nick Spencer is on a tear. I do wonder though if the references in his scripts will date the trades sooner than later. Is that something you ever comment on when wearing your editor hat, not just for Spencer but all your writers? They make for great punchlines the Wednesday they come out, but a lot of them will require Googling 5 years from now. It's kind of like me complaining that the new Falcon looks like Manimal.

Different writers are more or less concerned about such things, but I’m not especially worried about it–no more so than Steve Englehart was when he wrote the Secret Empire storyline in 1974.
