When you were working on Avengers Celestial Quest with Sir Steve Englehart, did his opinion on Mantis' use in The Crossing ever come up? I would be very interested to know how he felt, since it took Mantis and made her a crazy villainess. He never retconned it in the series since Busiek had already retconned it away earlier, so there's no way to work out his feelings from his writing.
