New Brevoort Formspring

I tend to save all of my nostalgia for the period before I was doing this. I had the chance to spend an hour or two with Steven Moffat recently, and he said something that I’d heard him say before that’s relevant in this situation. He said, in essence, that to him “Real” Doctor Who was the original series, and that everything he and Russell before him have done is just a show they do–one they take very seriously, but nonetheless not quite “real” in the way the episodes he watched as a child are. So, for me, same kind of thing. There are people and stories and comics that I can look back at with some fondness, but my attention is firmly on what comes next– and, to a certain extent, on all of those older “real” Marvel comics that I read at a younger age.
