Follow up questions, would you consider Stan to be if not the greatest comic book writer of all time, perhaps that most important given how much he did for the industry and how many classic characters he created that are still around today?

I think Stan’s a crucially important figure in the history of comics and is almost the reason why we still have a comics industry today–but really more as an editor than a writer. He’s certainly the most well-known comic book creator, the person that somebody from outside of our industry is most likely to recognize.
