Hey Tom, I know here have been partnerships in the past but has the idea ever been floated of doing a character swap between Marvel and DC? Like Marvel doing a Superman book and DC doing Wolverine book for while.
Only in fan arenas. But making such a swap in practice wouldn’t be in the best interests of either company. First off, why should Marvel use its time and resources to increase the value and interest in a DC property (and vice versa). Secondly, all of the stories that the character appears in in your universe become a problem to collect and reprint once the deal is done. So there really isn’t any upside to doing something like this.
