  • Being autistic myself, I found the Deadpool joke in question to be completely harmless, and think that political correctness gone completely overboard to extreme censorship extremes is a far bigger problem for society than people making jokes. I would have minded if it was a story about how ALL autistic people are evil sociopathswith a pathological need to kill and dismember innocents, but an effing joke, one that even suggests that autistic people can be highly intelligent? Come on now.

    I’m afraid that the argument has at this point moved on from anything that was in that issue of DEADPOOL to just a general outrage and indignation at a perceived slight, some of which is coming from people who did not read the original posts in the first place, let alone the comic.
