New Brevoort Formspring

In Doctor Strange (2015) #1-present, Doctor Strange has a different version of his classic outfit. Is this permanent or some effects of the illustator/writer? It has no gloves nor the longer part of thr Cloak of Levitation. I hope it's temporary though, because if it were permanent he wouldnt't be in my preferences anymore. It's a great book though! (Could you please answer as I'm making an essay.)
