Do you not think it's time to maybe put a cap on new Avengers? The last few years alone have added almost 100 new members. The problem is every few new members makes an old one redundant. And a lot of the time once a run is completed the character is never seen again. When was the last time we saw Kelsey Leigh or Silverclaw? Due to the sheer quantity, the same fate is going to befall a large percentage of these Smashers, Synapses or Kaluus.

I think adding in new characters is a must for Avengers, as it enables you to explore new relationships and new interactions. Otherwise, you run the risk of things getting stale. And while some of those characters might not work out long term, that’s no reason not to continue to try–because sometimes they do work out.
