  • Why do so many of the all-time greats like Bill Everett, Neal Ponzer, Mike Wieringo and Mark Gruenwald die young?

    Well, like in any field, some do, and others–Jack Kirby, Will Eisner, Harvey Kurtzman, Julie Schwartz, Gene Colan, John Buscema, etc–do not. it all depends upon your perspective.

    In some respects, any death is too young.
