In my own personal headspace, Scott, Hank, Jean, Bobby and Warren hung out with beatniks in the Village in the sixties when they were teens, were active during the Vietnam War and the Gulf War, turned thirtyish around the nineties, and they are now thirtysomethings in 2015. Unlike Marvel's official stance where they move the beginning point forward in time to keep the span amount of years consistent.
