Please keep in mind as your publication continues that you continue your applaudable efforts to stray from painting the middle east, those of middle easter descent, and those of the Islamic faith as villains, terrorists, monsters or killers. You have done tremendously well in the last few years, especially with the introduction of Kamala and I hope to see this continue. Or if you’re just someone with a Twitter or Facebook account firing off misguided missives of hate, you’re helping ISIL. They’ve told us that.

And I’m pretty sure that right now none of us wants to help these bastards.”

Don’t let hatred grow out of Paris or Nigeria. Out of Egypt or Syria. Please try to blacklist stories that set a negative precedent. They don’t need to be political, I’m not saying write pro-refugee stories, but please – do not write negative refugee stories. Do not allow these stories to bleed out and give ISIS exactly what they want. A generalized fear of them that leaks and secretes into every facet of our western culture. 

The buck should stop with super heroes.
