  • The whole "Quicksilver is no longer a mutant so he is immune to M-Pox" thing is a good, well-planned dovetailing of two major story points. In a story-summit setting, which of those factors would come first? Was it a happy coincidence or did someone at a story-summit come up with M-Pox after realizing he would be immune? And, yes, I realize making QS match what millions of movie-viewers know about him was probably only one factor in the change but was M-Pox another?

This is just two separate and unrelated storylines that happen to intersect with one another in this particular way. The conversations about M-Pox didn’t have anything to do with Pietro in particular, but they had a lot to do with the world of teh X-Men as a whole, the world of the Inhumans as a whole, and the world of the Mu as a whole.
