Now that the younger Logan and older Jean and Scott are dead, do you agree that it's now time to get rid of the older Warren? Everything from Fall of the Mutants to Dark Angel Saga was a great epic of a tortured man who eventually succumbed to his own trauma and I don't know if there's anywhere left to take him. He's practically a lobotomy patient now and he has a younger counterpart to replace him. IMO, it's time to get rid of him until the 05 return home.

I don’t know that I ever feel the need to “get rid of” any character especially. The most I might do would be to just not feature them in stories if I didn’t think there was anything interesting to do with them. But then, tomorrow, somebody could walk through those doors with a great idea–and if you’ve “gotten rid of” the character, you need to spend a bunch of time and effort un-getting rid of them before you can even get to whatever idea it was that excited you in the first place.
So I don’t particularly see a need to do away with Warren Worthington, no.
