Hey Tom, thanks to god Virginia nag a damn about the fans we really appreciate it despite some of the casual d&$*s that give you a hard time, anyway my question is: what do you think of Thanos as a character and is he overrated, underrated or is he in the right spot and which versi n of Thanos is your favorite?
I’m not sure how possible it is for characters such as Thanos to be overrated or underrated. At any given point, the audience becomes interested in someone or something, and at another point their attentions may drift to somebody else new. At the moment people seem pretty interested in Thanos, especially as they wait for him to make a full appearance as the main villain in one of the Marvel films–and there’s nothing wrong with that.
I show my age, but my favorite Thanos story is probably THE DEATH OF CAPTAIN MARVEL. He’s barely in it, but he plays a key role 9and this was back during the period when he was legitimately dead and never coming back–a situation that changed some years later.)
