In reference to the reaction Nick Spencer is currently dealing with (admirably) regarding Captain America - do you ever feel that large parts of the comic community are just sat waiting to find something to get upset about each week?

No, I don’t think those reactions are really coming from the comics community–or indeed anybody who’s actually read the comic in question, for the most part.
It’s very funny to get e-mails from people who have clearly never bought a Marvel comic telling me that they’re never going to buy a Marvel comic again.
