  • Hi Tom. Why was a years old, Art Adams homage to a Michael Golden piece, used for an Uncanny X-Men 600 variant cover? Can you talk about the approval process that sees that image printed, instead of commissioning an original piece of work from Adams himself? I mean, you would think Uncanny X-Men 600 would be enough of a milestone to warrant it, right?

    Because it’s a great piece that has never been used as a cover, and because it’s done, so using it is easy and a win-win for everybody involved.
