  • Hi again,

As a long time comic devotee I can and cannot understand why some of the proposed post Secret Wars changes are bothering so many fans. They’ve grown to love certain characters and want to see them retain prominence. These old characters earned their stripes so they deserve their position. I get it. On the other hand, aren’t these alterations in line with what the comics are about? Fighting injustice in all it’s forms is arguably the main theme in superhero comics. Considering all the support people other than white males have given comics over the years, couldn’t how under representened they are be considered an injustice? Not that the diversity situation in comics was created with malice, but wouldn’t correcting it be doing some good? I pity the people who are so insistent that the ongoinging changes are somehow inappropriate. To have involved themselves in something for so long and seemingly missed the point is kinda sad.

    a flummoxed fan
