I agree with you about Art Adams, but why do you think as successful a career as he has had, he never reached the heights that Todd did (a lengthy run on a flagship title, getting a new flagship title created just for him, etc)? Did he come in too early?

Art was just too slow as an artist, so he could do Annuals and fill-ins, but never managed to build up the speed of production that allowed him to do a regular run on a title.
