Was Warren Ellis's SECRET AVENGERS the first time Marvel used the "every issue drawn by a different artist" format that you're now using for S.H.I.E.L.D. and Scarlet Witch?

I feel like we must have done this sort of thing before then, but I can’t really think of one (outside of anthology situations like What If) offhand.

But no doubt somebody will turn up to correct me.
