  • Prior to the New 52 reboot which merged the DC and Wildstorm universes, why did DC put all of its heroes on the Justice League or spin-offs like Justice Society, JLI and JLA while Marvel has the X-Men, Fantastic Four, Avengers, Defenders and Guardians? DC seems to go for long periods of time without Doom Patrol or Outsiders comics and shoehorns everyone into the Justice League instead of diversifying their roster a bit more.

    You’d have to ask them. My guess would be that they’ve found that Justice League is a much better and easier-selling brand for them than Doom Patrol or Outsiders, neither of which has been a super-successful series in decades.
