When comics used to go up in price we were told it was because the cost of paper was through the roof. Then it was because the price of gas was going up and up. Why then do digital comics cost the same as print ones when there's no gas or paper involved? Is it just to not undercut brick and mortar stores?
That’s a part of it, yes. The other part is that there’s a digital distribution network that takes its own cut of the revenue and that needs to be fed as well.
