  • Hi! A few responses back, you said that the letters pitching ideas get discarded unread. I'm just wondering why? Since there may be some good ideas in there maybe? --DarkShadeStar

    it is Marvel policy that we accept no unsolicited submissions, to avoid the sorts of nuisance lawsuits that most film studios regularly deal with. So good idea or not, you need to be an established writer with some published credits of some sort and be invited to pitch by a Marvel editor before we’re going to look at your ideas.

    1. jdinkhouse said: I wish everyone realized this, and stopped acting like they could be a writer if they only could write for Marvel. If you can’t write on your own, with characters you write yourself, you aren’t a writer.
