  • Hey Mr. Brevoort, I am a touch confused by an apparent change to the Secret Wars: Secret Love book. Whitley was announced as writing America Chavez & Kate Bishop as a couple, via a few posts, but they all disappeared. Now we are hearing that he is writing Misty Knight and Iron Fist as a couple; That's adorable, love the diversity & Misty rules, but...what happened to the AmeriKate plot? Did the change just not get announced? I hate to see queer romance plots die. :( Thanks for your time!

    The story that Whitley pitched didn’t fit in properly with other stuff that had been established elsewhere in the SECRET WARS books, so he’s doing the Misty story instead.
