Hi Tom! Just wondering if anyone pitched a Marvel Mangaverse idea for Battleworld? Haven’t read all of the tie-in titles but I wonder if anyone was nuts enough to pitch that. 

And on that point, what are your thoughts on that particular bit of cultural appropriation?

It was on one of the early lists of possibilities, but nobody stepped forward with a strong desire to do it or a strong story to tell, so we didn’t do a project. But a few of those characters were on the very first Alex Ross promo image.
