  • You always say that the publicly available sales data for Marvel is wrong, yet you offer up opinions on DC's sale data - why does Marvel have access to that?

    All you need to do is look at the overall market spread to make that determination, rather than having specific individual sales data. So I couldn’t tell you with authority what, say, Prez sold (although, knowing what the books that charted around it did through all channels, I could probably give you an educated guess) but I can see readily that the spread between Marvel and DC grew dramatically in June, their launch month. That tells me that they’ve got a problem, I don’t need any more specific data to reach that conclusion. But good question!
