How much input do writers at Marvel have in terms of which artists are assigned to the comics they write? I imagine some writers have more leverage than others, but what is the default at Marvel these days?
Everybody gets a voice, but nobody gets to decide unilaterally. Everything involves a discussion and a negotiation.
