Am I reading too much into the fact that the Number 8 constantly comes up during Secret Wars and around it? Time Runs Out jumped 8 months into the future, Secret Wars itself is 8 issues long, the heroes of 616 were in stasis for 8 years and then All-New, All Different Marvel takes place 8 months after Secret Wars ends. Anything behind this or is the Number 8 a favourite of Marvels?
Nothing in particular, it’s all just a coincidence.

quintessentialdefenestration said: 8 is just a really nice number it seems for linewide events– creators can tell one very large arc, two short arcs, or three vignettes. Makes sense that it would pop up everywhere.
