  • On occasions, we'll see a flashback to a previous event in a series' (or Universe's) history and the art in such panels often depicts that of the artist who was pencilling issues at the time. However, sometimes it's the current artist's pencils that recreates those scenes. What's the deciding factor in this? Is it a royalties issue? The availability of an artist? Or just a style preference?

    Just a preference, it doesn’t have any effect on payment.
