1) Published work only. Marvel does not accept unsolicited submissions of any kind, and we will discard such pitches unread.
2) You don’t get to send in an actual pitch until and unless you are invited to do so by a Marvel editor. At that point, your penciling will be irrelevant if you are trying to find work as a writer.
3) Yes, absolutely. You need previously published work in order to attract the attention of a Marvel editor and convince them that you’ve got a skill set worth pursuing.
