I went to a con. this past weekend in Miami ware Jim Shooter was attending and he was in a panel on the 30 anniversary of Secret Wars ware he spoke about his favorite Marvel character, who was Dr. Doom witch he spoke so eloquently and with so much passion for that I couldn't help wonder if any one ever asked him to write a book about Dr,Doom. With books on Magneto, Loki, Thanos, Venom and Carnage I think it would make for an interesting series by Shooter. Thanks.

No, to my knowledge nobody has spoken to Jim about writing a Doctor Doom series.
