From a white male comics fan of nearly 30 years -- I'm all for Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm in the upcoming Fantastic Four film. My only complaint is that they didn't make Sue black too. While I have no problems with bi-racial families or adoption, I wonder if Fox didn't want to go "too far" out of some marketing-based fear that it would make the movie "too black" for white audiences?
Maybe. Who can say? At the end of the day, if the movie is good, it’s good, and if it’s not, it’s not.
