Given all the leaks, and the inherent clues to what might happen in Secret Wars, I was just wondering - and this is a good faith question, because I honestly don't know - why it's necessary to announce your October lineup so early. Would you be at a big disadvantage if you delayed the release of the information until Secret Wars was over, or nearer over? And just told us we'll get the new stuff when we finish reading the old stuff?

Comics are solicited three-four months ahead of time, so that the retailers and fans can place their orders in an informed basis. As such, that’s an unbending amount of time at which info is going to have to come out.
Plus, the longer we hold onto information, the more chance there is that rumor sites will learn t and break it early; just because we might make an effort to hold onto it longer doesn’t mean that they would.
