  • Here's what people don't seem to get about the skin colour argument - these are FICTIONAL characters who have been invented by a narrator. They've been depicted in accordance with the inherent prejudices/assumptions of the time/culture that the story is being told in. They are not absolutes. It's the same reason most Western depictions of Jesus show a white guy when he was from an Arabic country. The world does not crumble when the depiction changes for a new audience.
