"Surely there were immortal beings in the Universe that existed before this one, the one that Galactus comes from–and those guys all seem to be gone, too." Except the Dweller-in-Darkness! According to Journey Into Mystery, he survived the end of the last universe and he seemed to think he'd survive the end of the current one too. Any chance he was right about that? (I know you're getting tired of people asking these questions, but this really seems like the one possible exception.)
