  • I'm conflicted. Loving Secret Wars and enjoying many of the Battleworld books, but I have almost no interest in your All-New, All-Different Marvel. Also I can't grasp why the drastic changes to your main line of characters. Instead of creating new characters to offer the diversity you needed, you replaced many of your top characters and expect fans to just accept them. You then cry foul if we happen to speak up against it. If we're not happy, it's our fault, we're prejudiced. Wrong, it's yours.

First off, glad you’re enjoying SECRET WARS. Secondly, as is always the case, you and everybody else still have the same freedom you’ve always had: you are either interested and you buy and read, or you are not and you do not.

There’s also no problem with expressing your displeasure with a direction, depending on the manner in which those feelings are expressed.

I also know, having done this job for a very long time now, that any change to anything at all that we announce is going to garner a negative reaction at first, typically from panicked and emotional fans, and that this is typically a good indicator that we’re on to something. I know you hate hearing this, but it is 100% the truth. Look no further than SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN or the female Thor as proof.
