  • Tom, I'm sure you've heard about Stan Lee's comments regarding Peter Parker being anything other than straight/white/male. He felt that this shouldn't be changed because PP has always been this way, & he would prefer you create new heroes who are diverse rather than change established ones. When people have stated this opinion to you in the past, you've intimated that they are revealing racist/homophobic views. Would you attach the same labels to Stan Lee, then?

    Let me ask you one simple question: if, say, Donald Glover were cast as Peter Parker tomorrow, what do you think Stan would say about it?
