Bendis has been writing Ultimate Spider-Man since 2000. He has been writing Miles Morales since 2011, and his book has just suffered a relaunch after declining sales less than one year ago. This is the third relaunch of the book since Miles Morales debuted, and god knows how many relaunches of the Ultimate title. Also, for a title that preaches about giving us a black Spider-Man, both Bendis and Pichelli are very white, isn't it time for a brand new take on Miles Morales? Wasn't now this time?
