An old, tattered issue featuring Arkon from a garage sale or flea market was probably the first Marvel comic I ever owned. I forgot the character existed until Weirdworld #1, which was quite possibly my favorite writing & art on Marvel book this year. Absolutely gorgeous, and the pacing perfectly captured the high octane vibe of the Conan era of comics. Bravo, all!!
